History

I created my very first website when we got our first computer around 2001. My first host was Tripod, back then, it had a lot of pop ups, and ugly banners, but then again, I was really young and didn't know what a "good website" looked like. It was called "Icons Galore" or something similar to that, looking back at some material I found from it, it wasn't really a successful website.  I also created a couple EzBoards. I was too silly to realise why banners and pop ups came up after a month or so. They were trials!

In 2003 I got my laptop. I was so excited about it, I began to request for Paint Shop Pro. I won a copy from Ebay, and though it was an old version. It still made really nice graphics, I was a novice at the time, so I still had no idea what to do. That July of 2003, I decided to ditch Icons Galore, and just start reading on some tutorials and try to make a better website.

I never even attempted to create a new website until the beginning of 2005. That January I began making a lot of graphics. I decided to open an account with Atgig.com. The website was called YMIKnot Graphics. This is what it looked like. Despite the 1Gig of space, it seemed the website had a lot of downtime and therefore pissed me and some users off.  As of right now I believe they have closed. So there's no need in even trying to sign up with them.

I began searching for a new host in August of 2005. My third website (much better than the first or second), was A.a.l.a.m L.a.y.l.a v1.0, it was made at FreeWebs...it also had graphics made by me, but also contained a blog. It was making some "ok" progress, but the banner at the bottom ticked people off, and it was messing with the layout. The layout never came out right, and the Frames had banners in them too. It made the whole website look yucky!

On 4th January, 2006, I created A.a.l.a.m.+.L.a.y.l.a v2.0 on FreeWebTown. Much better than the last. By then I had the know how to make my Iframes "float", have Iframes with links in them, load into another Iframe, background positions etc. I have 2gig of space and bandwidth. The best part about FreeWebTown, is that it has its own pre made templates, so people who do not know much about making their own layouts can use the ones they made. Plus there's absolutely no pop ups, no text links to copy and paste, but I do suggest you to link to them with one of their link backs =D. I should of found this website much earlier!

After months of neglecting Aalam Laylav.20, I decided to just dump it && focus on school. Around July 2006, I felt the need to create another website. Yes if you haven't noticed by now, I'm a very restless person. I went through several names for my name website including xmetalxheartsx, harlequinxhearts_x, and a few others. I finally decided, (with help from Tawnia), PantomimexPanicx!!

With the developement of PantomimexPanicx, I made some good graphics, but it wasn't getting many hits. At the time I just decided to leave the content up, but not update. Well as of today it got about 5 hits a day.
After I saw that I decided it was time for a new website, one in which the name reflected me no matter what.
So I made some layouts and named it after me, a nickname people gave me, Mandylion.
I applied for a few hosts but many turned me down. I finally got accepted by Holly, whom I'm very gratefull for.

After about 6 months I was informed that my host was going to close her site soon. I had to either move to another host or purchase a domain. After much debating (just ask my friends) I finally decided to buy my own domain and name it Silver Hearts :) I bought it January 19th, 2008 and opened the next day. Where the name Silver Hearts came from was by a necklace I have which is a silver heart. It doesn't mean any type of meaningful significance, but it's really pretty and it's my favorite necklace.
